The artist-musicians Luke Calzonetti (US) and Stijn Wybouw (a.k.a. KRAMP, BE) engage in transcendental improvisations under the moniker of 'EC Band' , deploying wide layers of dark synths and subtle percussion. Visual artist Caroline Coolen uses collage, montage and free association to build an idiosyncratic world from a multitude of impressions from the natural landscape and environment. The trio will work together for a week in the studio of Lucas Pellens, and the result will also be presented there as the closing event of the festival. Image and music melt together in a blistering symbiosis.
