The Silencing

Sat 22.10 | 19:00 & 21:30
Provinciaal Domein Dommelhof, Toekomstlaan 5, 3910 Neerpelt

A trio of storytellers fill the room with recorded sound fragments: personal stories, musings, field recordings. Together with the audience, they contemplate the role of the spectator in the theatre. A process that slowly leads to silence, when there are no more stories left to tell.

David Weber-Krebs explores different contexts as the basis for an experimental process that questions the traditional relationship between the artwork and its audience, often in collaboration with other artists and theorists.
