Donika Rudi is a Kosovar composer of acousmatic and electroacoustic music. Her work ranges from compositions for ballet, film and theatre to multimedia installations and performances. ‘Lament of the Earth’ is a cycle of audio-visual works by Donika, dedicated to the effect of climate change on Earth. Combining writer Doruntina Basha’s text with the visual vernacular of Agnes Nokshiqi and the 'weep of the earth' by soprano Kaltrina Miftari, it is a call to listen and take action before it's too late.
