Pak Yan Lau's audiovisual installation '(t)ears' combines a number of soundscapes with a physical object. During a series of workshops, various recordings were made with glass and water as artistic media. The participants were instructed to make sounds that expressed their tears: tears of joy and emotion, but also of pain and anger. Pak Yan incorporated these sounds into a sound installation that also incorporates decorative objects made of blown glass. After a few try-outs, you can now admire the finished installation during OORtreders.
