OCCAM XXII (composition by Eliane Radigue)

Sat 22.10 | 23:30

Yannick Guédon is a French composer, singer and performance artist who lives and works in Brussels. In his work he plays with timbre and subjective concepts such as 'time', 'silence' and 'musical errors'. Place and context often play a determining and guiding role in his performance. During the festival, he will perform 'Occam XXII', a solo composition for voice by the French composer Éliane Radigue. In this daring technical feat, complex drones arise from the intense overtones of Guédon’s very personal style of throat singing.
