New artworks in Klankenbos

Throughout the weekend of OORtreders 2020 we symbolically opened two new sound art works for the permanent collection of Klankenbos.

Artist Nick Steur opened his work IMPACT, which he created especially for OORtreders 2020,on Friday 23.10 with a performance. On Sunday 25.10 we closed the weekend with the opening of the new sound art work Doors of Listening by Félix Blume and the participants of the Red Cross Refugee Centre Overpelt. It was an intimate and warm moment with the participants, artists and partners of the project.

Both works have been part of the permanent collection of Klankenbos since last weekend! Aeolian Harps, the two wind harps that John Grzinich built especially for the festival, will also be temporarily given a place in the forest at a later time. Soon come and (re)discover them yourself during a visit.
